To escalate your offer, simply click "I haven't heard back" button next to your offer. Please note this option is not available until at least 2 weeks after your offer was sent:
If your debt has both a collector and creditor indicated, you can send a final notice to your collector and escalate to your creditor:
- The final notice will tell your collector that this is the last time they will receive your offer, and lets them know that they need to respond to you if they want to collect on the debt.
- Escalating to your creditor lets them know that your collector is not responding to your offer. Many creditors can accept your offer directly, while others will put pressure on their collector to respond.
If you do not have a collector indicated, then you can send a final notice to your creditor.
